Meet the organizer
As a 10-year veteran of professional skiing, event organizer Per Jonsson-Öhlin’s vision was to bring people to the mountains he loved as a child. High above the Arctic Circle, near Vassijaure, Sweden—21 hours by train from Stockholm—Per set up a tent village and invited others. It was important to him that the gathering of 81 people in the wilderness would “leave the place as it was” after they left.
● Why did you choose BORROW Short Term Rental?
The main benefit was we could really reduce our impact on this pristine environment. We didn’t want to use single-use tableware and we could re- use the products over and over again.
● What did you like about the tableware?
The products breathe Scandinavian design, with nothing extra added. It’s just the perfect match between function and design.
● How did using BORROW impact your experience?
We were able to get people outside where they could form a temporary community in the wilderness, then break it all down and leave no waste behind.
